About us

Woodland Schoolhouse is a licensed, play-based preschool serving children 3 1/2 – 5 years old. Located in my Southwest Austin home and adjacent to Stephenson Nature Preserve, we have easy access to many nearby nature preserves and wilderness areas. The forest is our playground, and regular hikes into the woods are what make our school unique. In addition to a Reggio-inspired approach and inspiring indoor and outdoor classroom environment, each week children enjoy the opportunity to spend hours of uninterrupted time soaking up, exploring and discovering the natural world around them.
